And at that point, a note of surprise must have registered on my face
Yesterday at a family Christmas gathering, my dad said, "Hey son, I signed up on the web for this thing called Facebook. Have you heard of it?"

I'm still processing the ramifications of this. It's like reality shifted, just a little bit.

Yeah. I've got family on mine, too. That's why I completely flip out when people post sex stuff on my wall/comments/etc. Ugh. I hate it. :(

I understand. It's a change in reality, all right. I experienced something similar when I got a MySpace friend request from one of my redneck hillbilly cousins.

My mom told me to call home by writing it on my Facebook wall. I felt like I was back at school and she kissed me as I was getting dropped off.
